What is Math actually like at an international school?
How does it differ from Japanese arithmetic and math? Are you struggling with actual school homework?
This workshop allows both "students currently attending an international school" and "students considering entering or transferring to an international school in the future" to casually experience learning Math in English.
【Event Overview】
📅 Date & Time: Saturday, November 7, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 Venue: International Education Fair 2026 Tokyo (Tokyo International Forum)
Participation Fee: Free
45 minutes per session / Capacity: 8–10 people per session
※ Participation in the Workshop requires both advance registration and entry registration for the EXPO.
Students currently attending an international school can bring their everyday Math homework, assignments, or problems they don't understand. Kokusaba tutors will look at the problems with you, supporting you not just by giving answers, but by identifying where you are getting stuck and guiding you on how to solve them on your own.
For those without homework, Kokusaba has prepared "International School Math" hands-on practice problems! While tackling English word problems or questions that emphasize reasoning and explanations, you can experience what it's like to learn Math at an international school.
This is a Math Workshop open to everyone, where tutors support each student according to their grade level, ability, and goals, rather than teaching a group lecture.
It's OK to bring your homework. It's also OK to come empty-handed!
Come and experience that "I get it!" moment while learning Math in English.
